Sometimes you find a radio that just does everything it says on the tin, has all the functionality you need and is simply a joy to use. I think the ICOM IC-726 is one of those radios…it’s basically an IC-725 with a 6m module.
In all honesty, I won’t be too sad if it stays. Once again, I’ve been through it and checked everything works as it should. There were a couple of issues with it originally…which is why I came to have it in the first place. It belonged to a friend who didn’t have time to sort it out.
They don’t come up for sale very often and this one has the optional CW filter AND the optional AM/FM board fitted. At the time of writing, there was one for sale at Radioworld for £399, without the CW filter.
I’ve included a brand new ICOM HM-36 microphone and DC cable with the radio. It’s in excellent condition too. A true gem in my opinion.
I think this radio is worth every penny of £325 plus about £25 postage and packing.
